Marvel Universe Wave 9

The fine folks over at Hasbro were kind enough to send me some photos of some of their new Wave 9 2010 product. Today I'm going to take a look at some of the new Marvel stuff coming down the pike. Check out the next series of Marvel Universe, plus what's going on with the Secret Wars comic packs and some Superhero Squad stuff too!

Yeah I dig the Iron Spider figure myself. Some neat stuff on the way.

to let you know, the comic packs are mock ups, they will include the comics that the figures are based off of that will be included in said pack. (it's a common practice during the planning stage to have a "stand in" for pic announcements.


Very cool reporting, I know my son will love the spider man 3 in one truck, as he already has the car, and plane.

Did no one read my above post on the packaging.....The comic images are placeholders (prototypes) the actual product will have a specific comic for each set (not secret wars). These are mock ups for store ordering.

Yeah I contacted Hasbro and they gave me the official comics which would be in the packs. The site has all the details about the correct comics. It was updated early this morning.

Cool pics, Dark Spidey and Wolvie look cool and I'll be picking up MJ because, well, Spidey needs his woman. No shots of the Gargan Venom yet?

Winter Soldier looks interesting. the rest of 'em... not so much. Kinda looks like they are running out of steam already with the line.

It still galls me to see characters made for this line that were passed over in Marvel Legends (Winter Soldier, Wrecking Crew, etc). I refuse to change scales after having so much invested in ML. Selling the action figure license to Hasbro was a horrible move by Marvel in retrospect.
