I read somewhere that they are going to be shutting down Star Tours in Florida at the end of the summer.

I would'nt doubt it, the ride sucks... but I love the Ewok village and the store is my favorite thing at Hollywood studios

No, the way I understand it, they're gonna close it down to renovate and upgrade it, not permanently close it.

^ Good! We were just there a few weeks ago and that ride has definitely seen better days...They used to have Vader breathing at you from behind a cage when you got off the ride and entered the gift shop but he's gone now. So is Boba Fett. They may have been gone for awhile...it's been a few years between visits.
