    DCUC Wal-Mart 2-packs are out

I saw Batman and Robin and Aquaman and Black Manta sets at a nearby Wal-Mart. The Aquaman has the gold (Alex Ross) color scheme, and Black Manta has a dark blue bodysuit, making him Super Friend-ly looking. Batman is the DCUC mold in igray and black, but has the current comic deco with the bat with no oval. Robin is the red/black Robin repainted into the Neal Adams design.

At $30, you aren't really getting any kind of deal on these. I passed for now. I may get me both eventually, esp. since my DCUC classic Aquaman came with a broken arm, right out of the package!!! Not like I could return it for another.

I am pretty sure I won't see these in the wild.
      But it's cool ..., I don't need them.

Saw them today...Also saw Dr. Mid-Nite, Eclipso and Iron...Same figures I've seen last 2 months. This line seems dead around here...Must be the higher price points cause these figures would not have lasted this long last year.

Oh and Captain Cold is STILL there...The irony of being a peg warmer with the name Cold

Irony is making him in another scale to do the same imo.

I ran across an Iron at a Walmart a few days ago ..., they musta had the other wave 12's sometime ..., I don't see new figures here, and really have not ever. Been seeing some wave 9's ... Black Canary, GA, Deadshot, Human Mantis and whatnot ..., also saw a Cyborg Superman from wave 11 ..., and a Green Steppen Wolf, I think that's it as far as new goes, since wave 7.

Found a John Stewart at Kmart a couple of weeks ago. And one lone Shark at tru. Otherwise pretty slim pickings here too. I want to get that new Hal Jordan repaint. Hopefully it will be out soon. In case anyone missed the pix:

My Target has Vigilante, Shazam, Firestorm, Cold, Mr. Impossible and Wonder Woman. Plus they also have the Public Enemies Wave 2 series still.

I'm still undecided about the Walmart 2-packs.

^ Yeah Firestorm, Cyborg and Wonder Woman turn up quite a bit around here as do the Target Public Enemies shelf warmers

And you may be RIGHT dangit...but CAPTAIN COLD was the first custom
Mego I ever wanted years ago...and I still say he's my favorite that was
never factory made by MEGO or this "new" MATTEL line.

I believe that COLD along with LEX, SINESTRO and CHEETAH and a few
others are so very vital for this lines' "poetry" if not profit.

Hey, I know "profit" is what is really important
BUT, still, as people have said before----eventually they'll HAVE to put
out lesser wanted/lesser selling characters----I mean they are at a big number
already when it comes to what they believe they are "comitted" to.

At least I'm not saying DR. SIVANA should be a shoe-in, eh? He's a great
arch villain compliment to our beloved vintage WGSH but I gotta balk
                    at his generic bland design.

Why in the world is Power Girl an All-Star figure? She's still gumming up shelves at Wal-Mart nationwide.

Good figure, but already over-produced without a second run.

The GL is a good variant. Makes sense.

I've never scene any Powergirl in stores, so I dunno.
Obviously She might be clogging the shelves, because of the BS lack there of Distribution of her.

I bet I've seen maybe 5 Power Girls here total. And that includes 2 All-Stars. Still no 2-packs yet though.

I was at the Wal-Mart in Secaucus, NJ about 2 months ago and they had 10, yes TEN, of the original Power Girl on the pegs...Nothing else but Power Girl.
