Wow, to say that lineup is eclectic is a understatement!

Not sure I was really waiting for a Jemm, Son of Saturn figure, but I bet someone was.

Golden Pharaoh...I guess I should be kinder to that guy. I let a friend take a baseball bat to my old Super Powers figure, because I hated him because they made him over a REAL character. It's not a moment I'm proud of.

Wow...Jemm, Son Of Saturn? Really? Did they take a survey to decide which characters no one remembers ever?

Guess I can look forward to Ultra The Multi-Alien soon (which I WOULD buy even though Wallyworld has now jacked these up to $15.47 a pop!)

If you want obscure cult figures, how about Amethyst Princess of Gemworld, Aztek, Inferior Five (geez, who wouldn't buy a Merryman?)

So anyway...the list:

- Martian Manhunter ('bout time)
- Starman (hopefully the Jack Knight version will be a variant but I'm assuming it's Ted)
- Batman Sinestro Corps (huh? I expect one-off concepts like this from DC Direct but
not DCUC)
- Raven (fan favorite vote...plus she adds to the Titans roster)
- Omac (goes along well with Kamandi)
- Jemm (an odd choice indeed, but maybe a nice companion piece for J'onn?)
- Golden Pharaoh (a given, considering the love fest with Super Powers)

I have no Idea Who Jemm is other than the Totally Outragous 1 ?.... Not talking B&B Aquaman here either.
I hope for the New StarMan in cry for Justice, but realize it's not gonna Happen ..., not found of the Cosmic Rod Dude ...
Batman if the Sinestro Corps is interesting ..., All though it never did happen, but almost did ... , I woulda Liked a Green Lantern Batman or a Black Lantern Batman More, considering the DC Direct figures kinda seem to be Mcfarlane Statue Trainwrecks imo.

I for the most part welcome the rest ..., I am a bit disapointed that they are choosing to really kinda stroke the Metal Men out, rather than offering 1 every Wave, so we can Actually complete something.

^ Well now that the Super Powers are being completed, maybe they can concentrate on finishing the Metal Men AND the Doom Patrol

Wow, they're getting into characters I've never even heard of. Jemm and Golden Pharoah? I've seen the Pharoah Super Powers toy, but never in the comics. The only figure in that wave I'd buy is the Starman, depending on which version. I would love to upgrade our old DC Direct Ted Knight figure, because he was one of the oddballs with ankle and hip articulation, but no knees. I don't know if I'd bother with Jack Knight. Now if they made the blue guy from Cry for Justice, that would be great. I already have a few good Martian Manhunter figures, and with the price of these things, I'm not going to spend the money to upgrade unless the older DCD version is really bad, like Black Canary - huge improvement there. I'd consider the Raven, but only if she was awesome in person.

^ Yeah that's the thing with a lot of these characters...DC Direct has already done them....I've already got J'onn J'onzz (2), Ted Knight Starman, Jack Knight Starman and Raven...doubt I will buy any of those, except maybe a Jack Knight Starman. So for me this wave is all about Omac and Jemm. I have no love for Golden Pharoah, but if I see him and none of the others, I'm sure the impulse buy will kick in.

For those unfamiliar with Jemm....



He had his own 12-issue mini series in the 80s....other than that, he popped up in Grant Morrison Injustice League arc in JLA and I think he's returned once again in some of that Superman:New Krypton crap. Not a character with a huge fan base, I hafta say.

Totally agree. And without being exclusives!!!

Hoping MattyCollector will have Plasticman. Stretchy limbs, Spring Body and Suitcase body?! Why can't DCD or something this cool?

Anyone else suspecting the Jemm might be a Martain Manhunter variant? He was originally created based on a Martain Manhunter proposal and I think it was the Ostrander and Mandrake series that tied the Saturnians(?) back in as related to the Martians.
