I see a lot of sports figures warming the pegs - they're almost statues, so I'm assuming they're by McFarlane. Also, they did kind of a "Classics" line, with repaints/reissues from Spawn waves. I see a lot of those, along with the "Man of Miracles" figure - formerly known as Miracleman but apparently there were some legal issues between Todd McFarlane and Neil Gaiman.

More in keeping with your article tho: Bakugam & Ben 10 don't seem to be moving. Niether do the Secret Saturdays. I see a lot of Batman: Brave & the Bold sitting around. DC infinite Crisis 3 & /4 figures: Green Lantern 6 -pack, Gotham City 3-Pack w/Commissioner Gordon, Guy Gardener vs. Black Hand, Alex Luthor, Thanagarian Soldier not moving. The JLU tiny metal 9 pack figures not moving. Tiger Woods toys/statues still sit around. Up until recently TRU still had Prince Caspian and Golden Compass toys too. Lightening Thief doesn't seem to be jumping either.
What has held me back from buying the BSG figures have been the $13 a figure price tag. They are peg warming here also.

          My opinion;

Hands down, all that Star Wars "Shadows of the Empire" crap... I'm pretty sure there a few Price Xizors still doing the peg parade at my local TRU.

The Trek movie figures have to be the biggest duds of the decade to date. I remember the first waves to hit the shelves here sold like ice in August. Then the retailers heavily restocked.....and the darn things are still hanging there. Wal Mart marked em down to a buck to clear them out (and still have a ton of them). TRU seems hesitant to drop much below 3 bucks, but have so many of them they still fill up an endcap.

            Honorable mention:
Secret Saturdays doesnt appear to have sold anything! I'm shocked as I thought the cartoon (what few episodes I've seen) looked pretty cool.

Astro Boy--Going to be the next figures for a buck on clearance.

Speed Racer--Didnt sell at all up here. They didnt go clearance either, TRU and WalMart just pulled them and I never saw them again??? Zellers didnt, and still has lots.

Indiana Jones--Most of the line sold ok, but Mutt (as mentioned) is still stinkin' up the place....him and that rubber green snake!

DCIC 3 3/4 figures. New waves sell out overnight, but for some reason Doc Fate, Green Arrow, Spectre, and Black Lightning just wont go away!!!

JLU Kilowog. I still see that unwanted GL Corpsman at every Target. I guess Mattel doesn't get it that everyone has one already from the 3 pack.

^ Speaking of JLU.....the Amanda Waller/Gen Eiling/Batman 3-pack has got to be the biggest peg warmer ever in that line

DCUC Captain Cold and Killer Moth continue to clog the shelves around here.

Ben 10 small singles seem to sell well, but the larger figures are sluggish.

Those big, clunky E.T. figures TRU had a few years back never moved one item. They were there for years, and finally disappeared. I think they may have melted them back down for the plastic.

Don't put collectors with DEALERS and SCALPERS. collectors buy for themselves the pick clean comes from the scumbags who take them to sell on ebay and rip off desparate collectors who can't find them in the stores

Rigth on this pack was an idea that should have been a Matty excl not a general release figure pack

I guess they let a vocal adult collector base influence the decision (much like hasbro did with the YARNA figre from Jabba palace that 6 boob montrosity clogged so many shelves 2 years ago hasbro actually had to buy them back and destroy them)

I don't see the IJ figures at all anymore...the Mutt figures were around quite a while but they are all gone now....Star Trek still lingering on clearance. Ben 10 too. I see a lot of the movie tie in stuff on clearance.....Prince Caspian, Trek, T4

I'm very glad that they made that Amanda Waller JLU figure, but it would seem that they went a little overboard on production. Now I hope the 3-packs go on clearance, because I could use a few heavier bodies for customs.

Avatar is also a big no winner at the local Wal MArt here. Top grossing film of al time my arse? So what. No body want's to play "blue skinned tree hugging hippy alien"... and since I'm ranting where the hell worth the Titanic figures Mr. Cameron? First top grossing film of all time for the director but no "floating in the cold Atlantic" action feature JAck or the "top-less on the sofa" KAte WInslet variant!?!?!

                                I feel ripped off.

And yes... I am joking. Accept the Avatar stuff... blue skinned tree hugging hippy alien just isn't a fun game.
