why do they feel the need to make a actual launch date for a movie line that will linger on the shelves. My TRU still has Hulk movie stuff that they can't get rid of on clearance.

They came out really nice. I was surprised that they made a new classic Ironman instead of just repackaging the one that came out last year with the marvel universe.
The new is a lot nicer.

Nah man don't sweat it. It is good info to have in case someone somewhere is in a place where they are adhering to whatever street dates are set. For some reason though, street dates don't mean much around here for toy lines more often than not. I mean, SW:AotC came out, they had the preview figures stocked here at a local Wal-Mart on the midnight shift almost a full three months before they were supposed to.

I marched to the front of the store with a Jango Fett and proceeded to watch management squirm as they rushed to take the entire end-cap and mod display down when they found out that: A. they weren't in the system yet, and B. couldn't even be sold legally for another two and a half months or they would be fined a hunormous amount...lol...

OH and the new War Machine figure is completely bad ***. Plus, they did some funky 70's retro armor Iron Man thing on one of the figures if I remember correctly as well.

Hey no problem. Cartoon Network is running ads with that date as well. It's not anyone's fault that some stores jumped the gun early.

When Superman Returns came out I got a set with Kal'El and Jor'El at Toys R Us and when I got home I found out they were not supposed to sell them yet. Had I been a scalper I might have gone back for more because the Brando Jor'El was kinda cool to have and others might have wanted it too.

I saw a few things at TRU a few weeks back, but nothing movie-specific. I bet Wal-Mart will have those big ailseway blocks full of stuff on Monday.
