I'm thinking about throwing all of mine in a box and storing them. The stupid things don't stand up, besides, I need the shelf space for my Retro heroes.

The other thing that ticks me off is that you never know if you'll get stands or not. I get a 3-pack, and there may be 3 stands, there may be 2, or there may be none. And then Matty Collector, of course, starts selling a box of JLU stands. Then again, some of the figures don't even have peg holes when they desperately need them. One of the projects on my rainy day list is drilling holes in the wobbly ones to fit some of the leftover stands we have sitting around.

        del...t-bolt-----ugggg, you said it.

Sometimes they do weird stuff even WITH the pegholes and stands
----sometimes I could swear there are malicious ghosts bending the figures
backwards or forwards in spite of them being mounted by their foot on a peg.

My problem is...I absolutely LOVE the show they are based off of,
so I keep trying to justify buying and displaying them...but, man, are they
        a tough deal all-around.

I'm also a big fan of the line. Whatever you do, don't bother with the blue stands for sale at Matty. They're marketed as JLU, but they're not.

I don't recall seeing the blue stands. I was thinking of the clear ones that they were selling. But then again, I haven't checked Matty Collector in a while, since everything I thought about getting is "Gone Forever"!
Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with the blue stands?

The stands I'm talking about are molded in clear/blue tinted plastic. The stands are etched with the logo Justice league Unlimited. The stands are way to wide. Almost big enough for 2 figures. So they take up alot more room. On the ones I got, the pegs on the stands don't always match the hole in the foot. And they also have this space that you can slip the foot into. You have to bend the figure to put both feet in the stand or 2 figures on the same stand would be to close together. I think Matty originally sold the same stands included in packs for the women figures. I thought those worked well. And a friend told me about small round stands about the size of a 50cent piece, that work very well. Sorry, I don't know the name. But I think they were originally for Star Wars figures.

Oh ok. I just checked Matty Collector and the ones they are currently selling look like what you described. I also saw some clear ones that would work, but I think they might have been through Entertainment Earth. One of the toy guys at the flea market sells them as singles. Yeah, I was hoping for the clear stands that come with some of the figures(if you're lucky).

The Matty stands are pretty terrible.

It's a shame that the figures can't stand. Between the crappy molds and the cheap quality plastic, they're terrible. My JLU collection is all laying on their backs in and out of boxes. Not exactly a fun display.

Yes, if I'm not mistaken, these small clear plastic stands work very well.

                      I feel your pain.

The sad thing is SOME of them can actually stand pretty well...
take green costume Lex for example.
