I've been trying to ignore these ever since I first saw them. Today I gave in and picked up Bats, Superman, and the Penquin. They are pretty cool little items! I like them better than the previous Super Friends line...which I assume is done?

My kids love these. I assume the old line you're referencing is the chunky 5" line? I think they are done, other than the Robin and Hawkman on mattycollector. Kinda stinks since they're still running the comic and never got the WW figure out. Back to Imaginext, the Green Lantern plane is awesome if you haven't seen it yet. My boys mix and match these with the small Brave & Bold and Marvel Super Hero Squad figures. I've been stalking Target and Meijer for the new Robin plane and Penguin sub. -
My kids love them too. My 8-year old son had kind of left them behind, but my 2 year old daughter LOVES the Imaginext Batcave, and it actually gives them something to play with together. We managed to find the Target exclusive Batmobile giftset with the extra figures after Christmas for $8, and they both really enjoy playing with it.
My son mixes his B&B minis in with these now too.

Didnt know there was a Green Lantern! I saw the joker in a set with Penquin and a truck, but didnt want to blow 30 bucks just for Mr. J.
Same with Robin, I've only seen him in the Batcopter/sub pack, with the Batcave, and some kind of Batvan thing. The single carded figures arent a bad price up here, but the playsets and vehicle sets are nuts. Too much for something I just stick on the bookshelf."Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

Target had even cheaper single figures with one accessory back right after Christmas. I think they were $4 a piece? My son already had all of them. Picked up a Two-Face for my nephew this way. He got the Batcave for Christmas and is hooked.

Ressurecting this thread b/c I just bought a Batman w/ Batcycle and Joker w/ car for a little boy I babysit named Cory who is turning 4 next month for his birthday. Of course he flipped when he saw my toyroom and wanted to play w/ my RAH Batman and my custom Joker. Another kid in my class Tristan who just turned 3 brought his Imaginext Batmobile for Sharing Day. I don't know if there's more than one, but it's the blue one w/ the ignition on the roof, and motor sounds that rolls on its own. New are Killer Croc and Robin with his red Jet (the Green Lantern Jet in red).

I've seen the red Robin jet, but not Killer Croc. I know there is a small Flash set that is due out, and a Green Lantern Oa playset if I recall.

Yeah, and also in a single, if you're referring to the older more "chunky" style. The replacement line is a smaller scale, but it's not so far off that kids wouldn't play with the two together. I'll probably pick-up the villains to add to what we already have.Comment
