MOTUC Comic Packs coming to TRU (DCUC TOO!)

Even though I'm quitting DCUC myself, it looks like Mattel has found a way to suck me back in... At least for a few more figures.

Wow, that will be one cool, line-bridging set. And it's a great chance to get He-Man AND a normal Superman in the proper bright colors (which I've yet to pick up).

Crazy. I never collected either line outta "restraint". BUT I'm gonna feel weird
if I ever see that stuff in the store and don't buy it.

I just wanted to add, despite the size differences between the figures, Mattel considers MOTUC and DCU to be in scale because Eternians are supposed to be huge.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I think this would have been cool had they made Superman in MOTUC style, but I have zero use for yet another DCUC Superman re-release.

Think of Superman as a freebee then. $30 for the two pack is the same as one MOTUC figure from matty collector when you factor in shipping. Plus you get a reprint of the original comic.

I think these DCU vs MOTUC two packs are a great way to test getting MOTU back into retail. No retail chain would touch the property after the Smash Blade fiasco.

From what I've heard, Batman comes with Skeletor. Haven't heard a thing on any other possible two packs. Merman vs Aquaman would be wicked cool though.

I've been avoiding the MOTU Classics sucessfully for the last couple of years. Having them in the toy store may make this much more challenging to stay away from.

I'm really surprised that Masters of the Universe didn't cross over with Thundercats when both titles were relaunched in the past few years. To me, that is the one that makes the oddest amount of sense. More than Superman meeting the Thundercats!

It'd be cool if DC used this as a springboard and got the MOTU license again....I always felt they could have done more than they did with it years ago. I'd rather see Eternians cross-over with the DCU proper or even be an alternate earth instead of that Red Circle or Milestone crap they're pushing down everyone's throat....

I'm trying to think but I believe I remeber that as being the strangest team up Superman ever did in that title. Could be wrong . . did Spidey ever team up with Team AMerica motorcycles? ( did I get that right? )
