It was a good road trip --DCUC & Imaginext

I had some meeting in Bloomington IL yesterday and hit Target and Meijer on my way out of town. Both places had some of the DCUC wave 8 & 9 figures: Vigilante, Guardian, Wildcat, Black Canary, & both versions of Mantis. I wasn't going to pass on Black Canary so I snagged her and she rang up on sale at the register so that was even better. I also found this little jewel and was not going to pass it up.



Imaginext Green Lantern.



This just gives me hope that they are really going to expand the line. On the Fisher Price website, they even have pics of the Joker Fun House. That will be the next thing I get for my son if I can find it.

The Imaginext stuff is too cool. My son kind of put his away, but he got the two-seater Batmobile gift-set with Two-Face, Riddler, etc and it made him get back into them. He's been using them with his Brave and Bold Action League figures.

I showed him the GL and he was all about it. Must be on the lookout for it.

That Green Lantern Jet is AWESOME! I love the design of it with the clear green plastic...very nice. I'm gonna HAVE to get that one!

I saw the Penguin sub giftset at TRU. Pretty sure it's just a previous Imgaginext vehicle repainted, but it evokes the classic 66 movie (and the recent Brave and Bold homage) so its inherently cool!
