    DCU are too Expensive!!

Picked up an awesone Deadman and The Question today from the DC Universe Wave 11 line, but MAN it hits the pocketbook hard at $15 a piece. I passed on a few more I would've liked due to simple economics. Even though I was out the door at $30, I might have spent $40 if they were only $10 a piece. Come on, do they really warrant $15??

No ..., But it's too Late for me to Stop Now.
Naw seriously..., to Me they are the Best line ever..., Most DC Direct figures these days are 18.99 in a Comicbook store, unless you buy a complete set..., so I'd say with the articulation of these, and the Play Value,.. yes they are, and thier joints don't get loose like Marvel Legends.

So you an Opener ? ...
You gonna buy the whole set,.. or get rid of the Kilowog Parts,.. LMK I am Buying.

        ^^^Well there you go...,
You don't pose and Play with them,.. so they Might very well come off as a bit over priced.

I did realize I nabbed the Deadman variant figure. Oh that makes it ALL worthwhile.

Wuss, open those bad boys and have some fun. You are really missing out not playing with the darn things.

Bah! $15 is nothing. With shipping, MOTUC figures are $30 a pop. If I'm spending that kind of change on a toy, I'm bloody well going to play with them.

                  I balked...didn't buy any.

They're great but I have my DC Mego customs
and NOW the JLU figures to contend with.

I'm most likely gonna but 1-2 of every figure MATTEL gets
                  out in that RETRO line...

I have all the SUPER POWERS figures.

I'd strat collecting the ALEX ROSS figures if I feasibly could.

What's a DCU lovin' fool to do?

They jumped to $15 here at Wal-Mart. And that's the pegwarmers who didn't sell at $13. Yeah, those are going to make room for new ones now.

I found some for $12 at Meijers yesterday, however when I picked up one at Target it rang in at $7.99. I don't know if they are having a sale this week or if that particular Target was just trying to clearance out things after the holidays or what.

I found the Cyborg Superman today and it was $14.97. Not so bad if you find them one at a time or so but I'm screwed if I ever walk in and see a whole set on the shelf.

I did see a Vigilante at Target today and assumed it was $12.99, but I didn't check.

I bought my kids some of the early waves, they never really took to them like they did the JLU size.

As a collector, I find this series pretty fantastic to look at but I'm glad I'm a side line guy.
