The one here in Gent sold for $500.
I bought it for a collectible store in Brussels (favour to the owner).

If I had had the extra 500, I would have kept it....

Actually, my collection room is "up" there. It's up on the 2nd floor of my home (which is still under construction).

The only rules I've got are:

      1) You gotta pack yer own lunch (tuna sandwich or PB & J sandwich. A container of milk and a fruit)
      2) I call dibs on being Darth Vader when we play. You all can play whoever you want, but I'M Darth!

      And

      3) You gotta be willing to imitate STAR WARS sound FX without gigglin' when ya play!

How did you come by the TRU Millennium Falcon ?

When they first came out I know people who offered upwards of a thousand dollars and more to buy one and were told no.

Thanks pal. Well, as to how I came by "Millie", well you pretty much summed it up. I made a... very generous offer to the TRU store manager (back in 1997), and i was lucky enough that he didn't say no.

In a nutshell, that's the story.

When I got the ship home, the FIRST thing I did was was crank John Williams' STAR WARS score on the stereo, I broke out a bunch of Hasbro Tie Fighters, and played "Death Star Escape / Tie Fighter Attack" from A NEW HOPE

It was pretty tough maneuvering around a ship of that size (and I'm a big, strapping guy!), but BOY was it fun!! Wifey attacked with the Tie Fighters and we had a grand ol' time!!

Sheeesh! What a geek-out that day turned out to be!

I bought a TRU exclusive AT-AT a few years ago which was a spruced up version of the vintage model. I would love to buy some of these new versions but I can't justify wthe expense since I have perfectly fine earlier versions. Plus space is at a premium.

I think I saw a custom made wooden Star Destoyer on Ebay years ago. It was huge with removable sections for the figures.

It will be a day long remembered, the return of Megos, a Giant AT-AT, and soon the end of the rebellion...

Just think of all those vintage models, who will feel totally inadequate....

This new AT-AT looks like it's going to be a reasonably serious piece of business!

I particularly love the more accurate shape of the body and legs, and the size of those HUGE feet!

Plus... all the packaging on the movie figures is going back to the vintage look, even figures from Episodes 1-3. And a mail-away rocket firing Boba Fett, done up like the original.

Oh man , I'm getting two. So that will end up costing me around three hundred dollars. Iam I right? Does anyone know the price on this yet?
