I can't stand the Mighty Muggs; but when I walked past the vender and saw these I thought "man, my kid would love those things".
They are not big and clunky like the Muggs and they are not statues like the Hero Squad. Somewhere in between and with a Lego like mix and match play value that is spectacular. Plus they are just the right size for 3 year old hands, he can actually put them together by himself with no help (major win factor for a 3yo), and he can hide other small toys in their heads.
We have had these for a week or so and my son gets them out each day and assembles/disassembles them about twenty times while inventing crazy games about what they are doing. More fun value from a 75c toy for him than several of the 19.99 items that came around last month.
