I saw that today and figured you'd probably be interested in him...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging! -

I saw that yesterday; sweet! My only concern is that the solicitation doesn't mention a "light-up lantern" , which I feel is an essential accessory for this figure. If you look at the above pic, it almost appears as if the right hand is in a "lantern holding pose", and that possibly they decided to cut costs after the proto was developed and photographed and airbrushed the lantern out?
Again, I hope not, but with no mention of extra hands or a lantern in the solicitation, I fear the worst. Great-looking costume, though!Comment

I should also mention that if they do include a lantern with this figure, it needs to be the appropriate one, and not a re-use of the Hal Jordan/GL Corps lantern.Comment

I am pretty confidented an Accurate Lantern will be included ..., so far with Sinestro and Both versions of GL ..., they never jipped us .... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I hope you're right, but this is the official solicitation copy:
GREEN LANTERN GOLDEN AGE 1:6 SCALE DELUXE COLLECTOR FIGURE
Alan Scott, the Golden Age Green Lantern, was the first to discover the power of the green flame.
Saved from death by a mysterious green metal lantern fashioned from a meteor, it flamed with power, fulfilling an ancient prophecy. Upon its instruction, Alan Scott formed a ring from the lantern's metal, touching it to the lantern to charge it – and a new hero was born.
The figure features 28 points of articulation, is packaged in a deluxe 4-color window box with a fifth panel and includes a display stand.
Limited Edition. Manufactured to order.
$ 99.99 US | On Sale September 8, 2010
No mention of accessories other than a "display stand" , along with no lantern in the official pic, doesn't bode well, I'm afraid.

I've never really followed the other 7months till the Offical release Date 1st posted mentioning of figures before ..., with all the other figures,.. do they always say everything they come with, right off the Bat ?
With the Attention to detail.., with GL And Sinestro..., and a GA With 30 removable Arrows. & a Bow that folds up into his Quiver....., as well as the 18inch Jordan with light up Lantern ..., I guess I would be a bit disapointed about no Lantern with this guy ...... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I'd say most solicitations have had the accessories noted - especially considering they can be a huge selling point. My thought is, with the recent increase in price of just about everything else, these DCD 13-inchers have been pretty steady at around $100 retail each for a couple of years (except for the movie-based figures and Sandman ); maybe eliminating the accessories is a way to keep the cost down? Again, I hope not; a unique light-up lantern would be great for displaying Alan with Hal.Comment

I've never paid more that 50 bucks actual cash for 1 ...., so I dunno.
... , Prehaps they feel it's not really needed..., but that too would be a somewhat idiotic Idea,.. given all the 6to7inchers have it ... Maybe your are right, perhaps it is cost ..., I would think that Cape of his costs some coin to put together..., 2 tone cape with a Hem ...., Like I said,.. I dunno, but hope to get him Reguardless.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

As a kid and well in to my teens, I thought he had the worst costume ever. At some point I've started to see the charm he has. I think he's pretty cool now and this figure is amazing.
I kept wanting to get into these but the price scared me away. I saw some the other day at the comic store I wanted. Batgirl was about $70 and Supergirl was $125. I really liked the Dick Grayson Robin but when I went back for him (about a year ago) he was gone.Comment

^^^ You need to shop for these on Ebay Bud ... , you can pick so many of these up for 50 and under..., I think Scott A. 's selling a Nightwing for 50 in the Market Place too.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
