As for the best I would have to say the 25th anniversary Optimus Prime (Masterpiece in Japan). It's 12 inches tall with great articulation and is very faithful to the comics/toon version of the G1 Prime. This think is also mostly diecast metal so he is a bit heavy. I really didn't like the Transformers Armada version of Prime, he was far too bulky and he had huge plastic tires.sigpic

Godaikin's Large Diecast Tetsujin 28 is considered by many to be one of the finest Robots ever made.

The terminator is the best robot ever done. Best Toy of it would be the Toy Island because they were cheap and I had them tear up the other 3.75 inch figures.
Worst.

Loved my Toy Island Large sized Terminator.
My only regret was that it was not in scale with the Kenner Arnie.
My favourite Goidaikin was Gardian.
Three robots and a rubber figure recessed inside each other like Russian Nesting Dolls.
Loved the Anime as a kid as well.

My favorite is also Masterpiece Prime.
My other favorite is the Japanese version of Smokescreen that came out last year.
The worst robots are pretty much anything from the Micheal Bay Transformers. They're so ugly and they have so many little parts you don't know what you're looking at.Comment

1/55 scale Strike Valyrie from Macross (aka Jetfire in transformers) but it has this massive cannon on the jet pack
