Hot toys Apes

I just got home to find a big box sitting outside my door. Like a kid at christmas, I ran inside and ripped it open to find my brand new General Ursus and Gorilla captain.
Are these figures sweet or what!? Yes they are pricey but my god they put the sideshow figures to shame!

Time to play............

Yep, I have them and absolutely love them. Worth every penny. I sure hope they make more!

I just hate the gorilla soldier's teeth though...and his hairline. Other than that they are awesome, and HT General Ursus rocks my world!!!

I dont mean to be daff but I am trying to work out the two prongs on the stand!? Does it go up under thier legs to stand them up or what?

I couldn't remember a photo with apes, but I ran across this so you can see. Anyway, Michael Jackson did have a pet chimp and even if he never admitted it, he was a die hard fan of Planet of the Apes.

I think the stands are horrible looking. I hate how they surround the family jewels. They look very awkward...like some sci fi nut cracker or something.

Some day I'll pick up a HT Ape, but for now, they're beyond my reach.
Damn dirty apes....

I doubt they will drop in price. From what I have seen with the Hot toys figures they actually increase in value!? Believe me, I didnt want to shell out $125 +shipping for each figure but from what I have seen with the other figures, its now or never.
