JLU 3 Pack Review: Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, The Flash

Thanks in part to a secret love of Captain Cold, today I'm looking at one of the brand new, hard to find JLU 3 packs. It's the Captain Cold and Captain Boomerang versus Flash pack. I found this by pure luck the other day at Target and I'm really glad I did. It's still faltered by all the weaknesses of the Justice League line itself, but regardless I find myself beaming with excitement over these guys.

Mattel sucks with distribution. It does not give me much confidence in finding the new 8 inch clothed figures at TRU.

I doubt this set will be on any Shelf here ...

Man, you were rough on the Flash. I guess his villains are inherently somewhat goofy, but they have been portrayed effectively as well, mostly by Geoff Johns.

But I appreciate the review. I've passed on quite a few JLU figures of late, including MattyCollector sets I should have gotten. But if I see these guys, they are good as bought.

Unfortunately, I'll probably never see them. Of the two Targets within driving distance, one is only stocked once a year, and the other is stocked often but heavily scalped.

Flash has the Best Rouges Gallery next to Batman & Spider-man.

Great review! I found this Flash set a few weeks ago and the 2 villians are really nice figures. I agree with the whole thing. Even the part about the Eclipso set being the worst 6pack ever. Is the Thanagar set the next JLU review?
