as for worst take your pic of any of the legends of batman line from kenner they were bog and clunky and preset in "action" poses with joints that didn't actually make them posable.
Agreed. As much as I love the Pffiefer (sp?) Catwoman sculpt, I hate the fact that I could never get it to stand up on her own without it falling over thanks to the stride pose (and high heels, but I ain't complaining about that).
My store in the MEGO MALL!

Read the articles and never could be sure she wasnt a retolled prototype Superpowers figure.

Punch out Nicolson? " Love that Joker!"

Penguin? WHY WHY WHY ??? I think the Umbrella drop ship was a hold out from SUperpowers too.

Those Masterpiece edition boxsets were so wonderful. I kind of wish they had kept going with other less popular characters like Flash and Green Lantern. The entire package with the hardcover Les Daniels book and repro comic was top notch.
Agree!! I would have loved if they would have done both Superman and Wonder Woman as retro action figures.

That Batman is a personal Favorite of mine they did an amazing job with it

        Here is mine

Wonder woman is a Bendie. I didnt know that untill recentlly shes not a statue !

My problem with the masterpiece Batman is I HATED the way the neck was situated. looked abnormal, They should have used Jokers glove mold for his hands.

Great things? Wires in the cape. I played with my first one till I wore it out. The cotton period accurate costume, a batbelt WITH a batarang!!

now you got me wanting another. Anybody need a wonderwoman? Still got the book!

Well, it'd have to be PRETTY retooled with THAT pose....not too SP-like.

about the mere fact that they exist!

Still thinking as a kid how do you make up a story idf ALL your guys are the same person?

                  I always wanted different characters.

Of course I have been getting "How to play right" lessons from my nephews. Bash them together and scream " Youre DEAD!" again , and again . . . .

True dat...I was the same way...no Han Bespin and Han Hoth in my same play session.

I had a friend who just pronounced their names differently (Hahn/Haaaan)
or called them "brothers" "cousins" or whatever....never understood
how some kids could be so creative!

My brother and I had similar kind of play with our action figure variants.

Since they never made Wedge or Dak, Luke in his X-Wing pilot uniform got to be either of them. Han and Luke in Hoth gear were just generic rebel snow guys. The Empire fall apart Threepio and telescope R2 became addition droids.

I guess if faced with so many of the variant Batmans today, I'd have been playing Crisis on Infinite Earths and designating them Batman from Earth 1, 2 etc. You can imagine how cool it would be to have Viking Batman fighting Ninja Batman or Vampire Batman like in the Countdown Arena comic.
