    Action Man 40th ann

Was wondering if anyone here was collecting these, are they any good? They look nice but i feel they are a little overpriced, Wondering if they are worth the cash

They're great replicas, but a tad expensives.
Luckily, I still have an army of vintage figures, so I passed...

i have vintage action man and 40th also 40th gi joe

some of the 40th not so rare stuff is around £15-£20 boxed here

they done some great parts to use as replacement bits for the originals, i recently used a new sas mask on a vintage action man and the item looked great

ebay sellers are sellig the boxes... heads, hands and just about any part you want

some of the earlier now discontinued palitoy box 40th stuff is harder to find after palitoy went mad with them and they had to change the packing

if you want to relive your youth and get a mint in mint box action man the its very affordable

£20 for a 40th or £200-£300 for the original and its just as good as the real thing lol

they are not cheap because they are a limited run and privately produced under license. The stardard issue sets aren't really worth it for me as I have many of the later AM sets mint from the eary 90's when AM was still way cheaper than Joe from Costswold. but for an item like the Life guards or the 17th lancers or the Arygll * Sutherland which ave many small pieces they are worth the expense.

        quality is top notch

I have a life size footlocker full. I bought most of the parts piecemeal.

I would say unless more reissues are coming its a good investment.

The Afrika corp uniform is way up in resale value as is teh British officer.

The characters are not just reissues ( like the American Adventure Team Joes) but remakes. Original style and materials.

EVERYONE should own an Eagle Eye Action Man.

I just wish thye line had gone a bit longer and we could have seen Zargonite and Bulletman and some more militay accessories and uniforms.

And they IMPORVED them rubber not plastic booTs.
