    New DC 3 3/4 figures.

While strolling TRU today I stumbled upon a new wave of the DC 33/4 figures up here. Blue Beetle, Mary Marvel (in black--Packaging calls her Mary Batson?), Red Arrow, Martian Manhunter,Psycho-Pirate, and Bizarro. Also had the silver age Flash, but his cardback shows the figures listed.
Of the batch only Martian Manhunter featured the new articulation...which is great by the way!

These have probably been out for awhile, but its the first new Infinite Heroes stuff I've seen up here for some time.

The public enemies sets are at some Targets, too. The new articulation is okay, but there have been problems with the legs breaking off at the knees when you try to bend them, so beware.

I've spotted the six figure set with Grodd, prez Luthor, new articulation Supes and Batman, Major Force and a repainted hawkman, and I think I've seen a three pack or two out there. I think they renamed Mary Marvel/Batson because DC still isn't allowed to promote anything using the name "Marvel".

We finally got Infinite Heroes around here...well ones that were not Black Lightning and Dr. Fate. Seriously, those were the only 2 we could choose from for almost a whole year. Every store I went to was just pegs of these guys.
Just after Christmas they offered Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Sinestro, Superman, Batman, Golden Age Flash, and then a bunch of crappy guys I had never heard of. Best of all they were 3 bucks each!
I'd like to see the new ones with better articulation.

You want a picture, you get a picture. Here is ol' Jonn Shumka dancing....I think it shows the new articulation off pretty well. I was ok with the old articulation on the DC figures as it lends itself more to play, but the newer design is even better. Almost on par with the Marvel figures without being as fragile.

I was lucky and found a hobby shop that carried the whole line, but TRU and Wally Mart wise, we had the same assortment---Black Lightning, Doc Fate, and the odd Spectre and Green Arrow. I was fortunate and found Batman, Joker, and Supes in a Zellers once too. Actually....I guess I wasnt that fortunate...who knew they would be blowing them out at $3.00 a pop!!! I paid full price.

I don't think any of the local retailers will be getting these in again. The same figures have rotted on the shelves for over a year, and yes it's Dr. Fate, Spectre, and a few others. Alexander Luthor is in force in these parts.

Stopped by the Oakville Walmart today and all they have left is piles of Qwardian, Omac and Manhunter. Looks like they can't even give those away for $3.

I agree, the plastic capes look ok if your going to stick these on a shelf somewhere, but if I was a kid (and I am), I would want cloth capes ala Super Powers so you could seat them in vehicles and such.
