Batman Action League Batmobile Review (With Clock King!)

Dunna nunna nunna nunna dunna nunna nunna nunna BATMAN! Bat-MAAAAAAAAAAN! KERPOWW! THUNKK! SPLAT! Today I'm taking my first leap into the world of the Batman Brave & The Bold Action League. This marks the first time I've committed to any of these small scale figures that look like they belong with a french fry and a 6 piece McNugget. How do I like this Batmobile, Batman and Clock King? The answer might surprise you.

Santa brought this to our house. It's cool, but the full-size one really rocks.

My son has both the Action Legue and full-size versions, and they are both cool. But that full-size one is one of the coolest toys I've seen in a while. it actually converts from the car to the jet with one motion. Great design by Mattel on that one.

The mini-Batsub set is cool. It floats!

I was just looking at these in the local TRU. Up here, the car comes by itself, but it does have the full roof. Really wish it was Mego scale....this is one of the best looking Batmobiles around IMO!! The larger one is cool too, but pricey.

Hey Captain, I think that Batmobile with the roof is actually for the regular figures. Is it a TRU exclusive? I thought it was Action League too, but the packaging shows a non-deformed Batman. I think that's their cheap alternative for the pricey Batmobile/Jet combo.

^^^ Had to look twice myself. It was indeed Action League. The packaging is almost identical to the one ODBJBG shows here, but the background is different, and there are no figures. It could be an exclusive for Canada, but I dont know for sure??

Great review by the way ODBJBG! I love this line. I know its made for toddlers, but I think its great!!

Interestingly, the one Captain is talking about I have seen at Target now (It used to be a TRU exclusive) and I'll take a look tonight and see if it says Action League or not.

Well...I shoulda looked three times. I was nearby, so I popped back into TRU again this afternoon. The shelf tag clearly says "Action League" Batmobile, but when you flip the box over it shows the regular sized figures in the line. Looking into the cockpit as best I could, it has a centered steering wheel, so it must be for the bigger figures.I wonder if its the same body as the AL one??

Too bad it isnt big enough for 8 inchers...thats the best looking Batmobile to come out of DC and a toy maker since the eighties....and it looks way better than the Super Powers model to boot!!

I noticed the new transforming Batbike right beside it also marked "Action League" when it clearly is not. In the local store they have the Action League stuff two rows down from the regular stuff, which doesnt help!!

I don't think it's the same mold as the Action League one. I remember holding both up side-by-side, and there are several differences, but the size is almost exactly the same.

My only gripe about the transforming Batmobile is it's a one-seater. As big as it is, they should have incorporated a passenger seat in a team-up driven line.

I haven't seen the Batcycle yet. I hope they make a Robin go with it soon!

Its the same mold as the Action League one, just has a canopy over the cockpit.
