Fun list Brian. I can't say I was a big fan of the 90s X-Men series. The melodrama and uneven animation turned me off. I think it hurt that BTAS was airing at the same time. But it did go on for a long time, and my son likes the DVDs now.

I always get a kick out of these, and your Sitcom Diablo entries. Please keep them up!

I think that it's sometimes better to not have representation than all those awful Female Force Toy Biz repaints. Not to mention the fact that they turned all those leftover Xena's into the worst looking She Hulks ever.

The 10" line really was a cheap way to milk an extra buck though... we had some great sculpts that were meant to be enjoyed at the smaller scale. I can only imagine the amount of detail and articulation if they had gone with original scupts at the 10" scale.

I worked at a comic shop in college, and my boss ordered several cases of the Diamond Exclusive Female Force figures. They were pretty hideous overall. That Spider-Woman mold from the Iron Man line got one heckuva workout. We didn't move very many, and then they started showing up at KB for next to nothing. There are probably still some hanging on the wall there.

They flip flopped back and forth a couple of times. Last I read in House of M, she was back to being his daughter.

Ahh yes: toy biz marvel goodness- and shamefully i owned most of those when I felt it was essential to display every character.

I was most disappointed in the Monster rogue. I like rogue and felt it was an insult to the character - even if you set the monster garb aside.
