Ever Tossed away a figure because you didnt feel "Right About " it?

I like the caricature type look Mezco has to a lot of thier Roto cast figures. I guess aftrer so much Movie maniac realism I wanted so fun expression. I gave up following the line because it was getting bigger and I couldnt afford it.

but i threw out my Jack The Ripper. I think this is one of the coolest accessorized and colthed and sculpted figures i have ever have. but it actual came with the orgar thr Ripper sent to the police. It was based on a real guy. We dont know what the guy looked like but the organ put it over for me.

I mean I collect action Man and like the german costumes as an enemy army but i would never buy a hitler .

Never bought anything that challenged me morally but I have bought things and later thought "Why do i own this?", like Full Moon figures, Austin Powers etc.

I gave away a lot of my Spider-man animated figures to my friends 6 year old. After the Marvel Legend style figures came out, these just looked all wrong.

I'd want a Jack the Ripper if it was based on the Gotham by Gaslight version because they made him a fictional identity. Also Batman can beat him up.

I can see where you're coming from. Some of the authentic accessories though seemingly cool are really morbid and glorify a serial killer who got away. I also wouldn't buy a Hitler.

The odd thing is that I wouldn't choose to buy a Hitler,
BUT if Hasbro would have made one as part of the
recent 3 and 3/4th inch INDIANA JONES line,
then I would have been pretty keen to have it.

I threw out some zombie or mummy. His suit was all tattered and just the whole thing grossed me out. I kept his body though--but threw out his head and and suit.

And I had to throw out a figure which didn't handle the oven very well.

Yea, that'd be tough... I wouldn't own a Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacey, and Jack the Ripper is nothing more than a serial killer, albeit more of myth and legend, but still nothing to glorify in my book. Hitler on the other hand is a significant historical figure, and no different than owning Stalin, or Ceaser Augustus or Vlad the Impaler, though I could definitely see the oversion... To each his own I say... I don't, and probably woudln't, own any of them, but some folks like it... and that's their thing (31 flavors).

I had the idea once to make a Mego Hitler to display with my custom Mego Red Skull. I got the head, paid someone to paint it, and even got a custom box, but never could bring myself to put it together and display it.

I actually smashed a wwe classics figure of Terry Funk as Chainsaw Charlie because I was so frustrated that the fig was done so so poorly.

I got the Jack the Ripper figure just for the guts, and the knives. Also kept the cape and top hat for the eventual Penguin custom.

Not really.. Other than perhaps most of the Famous Covers collection. I kept buying more and more (this was years after they left TRU and other outlets..). Once they were on the shelf.., they just didn't do it for me.

I FINALLY got a minty C/A Spiderman set a few years back, built it up with the custom gloves, etc.. but it just didn't appeal to me as I thought it would. My C/A Captain America's still my favorite, though, riding on my GI Joe WWII Harley.
