    3 3/4 modern superhero question

So my son got a little pile of modern RAH GI Joe stuff from one of his uncles this xmas. I don't know anything about the small Joes and thus he really isn't too much of a Joe guy as of yet and he has taken to naming them himself. Some of them are heroes he has known and some are names he made up. One of the cobra fellows who has a full face helmet has been rechristened Batman.

Are there any DC characters that are on bodies similar to the GI Joe RAH one with the o-ring type construction? Are the modern Hasbro Marvel characters on a similar body, or are they more like the Star Wars line?

I have a feeling I am dipping my toes in a very deep pond.

    thanks in advance

The DC characters are closer to the Mego Pocket Heros, although they are getting better articulation as the Waves keep coming.

The little Marvel guys are less articulated than Marvel legends, but are similar in a smaller scale. Very close to the NEW Gi Joe and GI Joe movie figs.

The Indiana Jones 3 3/4's were closer to the Star Wars guys.

      thanks LZ

I am wondering if any of those have a similar construction. i.e. the o-ring holding the limbs on and screws holding the torso and legs together.

From what I can see, the DC characters... no o ring or screws.

Marvel characters, screws...but no o ring that I can tell. But then again, I haven't taken one apart.

          Yes...,

For scale wise, the Marvel 3&3/4 incher's are very, very close to G.I.JOE Scale,.. and imo fit it quite Nicely when playing with them together..., They are pretty much a cross between Modern Star Wars & Modern Joe's..., But Hasbro Makes them all, so there you go ...

The DC Infinite Hero's don't really fit in with anything..., they seem alittle to small for New Joe's, Marvel, Star Wars & Indie figures. They have extreme limited Articulation, except for the Hal Jordan figure that Came with the Toon At Best Buy,.. He has about 30 Points of Articulation, and is Highly Poseable,.. However doesn't seem to be as tall as anything from Hasbro Either.

The Sculpts and over all likeness of characters seem More in Marvel's Favor,.. But Hasbro has also been making the Scale for yrs,.. so again, there you go.

"Play with them????" are you nuts ? These will be valuable collector items . Only a BABY plays with them . Youre suppossed to put them under two layers of mylar cases to "protect them".

              *sigh* poor prospector doll in Toy Story 2 . Nevr got loved on . . . . . .
