    >My guess is that George has been asked about it
    and has vetoed it

No doubt. But it's funny that they WERE planning figures back in the day. (Probably before anyone actually SAW it.)

I kinda think the figures are inevitable; given how much they've already mined from the franchaise.

I don't think one will be released without the other (figures/DVD).

Agreed; but I think an official release of the Holiday Special is inevitable. Maybe not in MY lifetime, probably not in Lucas's lifetime, but someday....

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

                  Call me crazy.

But I had a six foot inflatable Godzilla when the crappy american movie came out.

It's Christmas we have all seen whats in ours and the neighbors yards

                  what about inflatable Galactus?

Except for that one perverted guy out there who only plays . . .*cough* cough* . . .displays his figures while wearing a homemade Galactus costume.

Definitely one of the best bootlegs I've ever seen. I wonder how much they are going for these days?

I'm astounded that Hot Toys or another one of the Asian companies haven't made officially licensed High End Blade Runner toys.
