    Hot Toys Spider-Man '77 AND Japanese Spider-Man!

I don't get many Hot Toys nowadays, but I may have to make an exception here. No pre-order info I could find yet. Limited to 600 units!

They are also doing the Japanese Spider-Man!

    More details here:

Hot Toys has announced two new Spider-Man action figures. They are based on the two classic Spider-Man live action TV shows. The first aired in the U.S. starting in 1977, while the second aired in Japan in 1978. The Spider-Man (U.S.) 1/6 Scale Figure includes two sets of swap out lenses, multiple interchangeable hands, a...

Love these! But have to say for as ultrarealistic as hot toys are im surprised 77 doesnt quite capture the look.
i thought the 1:18 resin figure did it better even replicating the hammond/waugh physique under the costume.

Yeah, there's something slightly off about the head shape, and he needs the leathery-like boots and gloves OVER the spandex. But if I can get the 77, I probably will.

Looks pretty good to me! Will probably have to get both depending on price. But wanting at least the 77 version.

If I had my pick, I would go with the Hammond version. Wondering when Hot Toys would try for a certain 1970's TV heroine?

Spent some time yesterday night looking at all the new pictures of the 77 Spidey. Will most likely get that one, not certain about the Japan version.

And...it sold out on Sideshow with NO announcement of when it was going to go up. I was in a meeting with my boss, came back, and a friend showed me he was put on a waitlist. I joined it too, but chances of getting this are slim to none. Way to go Hot Toys/Sideshow and modern toy companies who really don't seem to want our money!
