Batman '66 style. The ones that were shown a month ago at Toy Fair. Sorry to be unclear at first... i don't even know what "legends" style is.

Thank you. By "legends" I meant super-poseable, like Marvel Legends.

Ah, okay. i don't follow anything Marvel. Happy with less articulated figures, as i feel too much articulation can make a figure look goofy (like Todd's 7" figures).

These look good but not to sure just how many Mcfarlane is going to release.

Batman '66 is pretty much done. Which makes me sad; it's been my favorite toy line for the last few years, and it's been fantastic! And I recently came up with a list of like a dozen more figures they could have done (not to mention the Batcopter). But. I was always hoping, and stating here, that Superfriends would be next. So I approve. I just hope it continues; they could easily get 5 - 6 waves out of this. The red "Universe of Evil" Batman is missing from the artwork above, but has been seen elsewhere.

And I'm delighted Batman '66 and Superfriends are the same scale. That works perfectly.

My dream, fantasy wish after this - Legends of the Superheroes. I'll prolly never get that one.

I hope we learn soon if McFarlane is going to be able to retain part of the license, for Super Powers and maybe the 6" Retro figures like Batman '66 and Super Friends. If not, I'm not sure I want to bother starting up a set of SF figures that will never be finished. I have the DCDs, so maybe I'll just try for the Universe of Evil Batman, if he's even halfway attainable.

Todd mentioned he was done with Batman '66 but is transitioning that lineup into the Super Friends

Looking at that initial line-up, I just don't understand why Lex Luthor couldn't be moved to a wave with Superman and The Riddler be a regular in the line-up that features Batman, instead of a Red Platinum.

That said, these go up for pre-order Friday, April 4. And as has been the case lately, Entertainment Earth may have a case (or a set) that has The Riddler in it too.

Agree about the Riddler - no need for him to be platinum. But honestly, he doesn’t look as good as the other four. Batman ‘66 Riddler may be much better if one doesn’t mind mixing the lines or doesn’t want 2 of the same character.

Has BBTS also gotten in the platinum figures from the Retro line in the past?

If you're looking for these, Target is carrying McFarlane's Super Friends figures in-store.

Yep, I've heard they've been spotted at Target in my city, Houston, as well. Which is interesting - they aren't even on Amazon yet. But the hunt is on! I'll drive around looking for some this weekend.

Awww man! Been trying to resist the six-inch scale rabbit hole but decided to make an exception and I just nabbed Batman, Robin, Penguin and the Batmobile at decent prices. Pleasantly surprised at the likenesses! Had hoped Todd would repop the main villains at least. No way I'll pay crazy aftermarket prices for Joker, Riddler and Catwoman. Phooey!

At least I'll be able to recreate the "Pengy as Commodore Schmidlapp" scene from the movie!
