I'm very bummed, as Batman '66 has been my favorite toyline, and I also collect Super Powers and some of the 7" figures. But is it confirmed McFarlane is going bye-bye?

The Super Friends line has me stoked! I suggested, in these very forums, in the past, that I wanted to see that. Now they're otw, and they look wonderful. It would be a tragedy to discontinue these before all the characters are made. I also dreamed that McF would do Legends of the Super Heroes figures. And as much of a deep cut company as they are, I don't think it was wildly outside the realm of possibility!

the couple things I gleamed online is that Mcfarlane can perhaps continue into 2026 with 6 inch retro, super powers and batman the animated series but DC Multiverse returns to Mattel in full. Will he continue under DC Direct? Warner probably wants DC to go back to Mattel for its global brand recognition.Imo, Todd did a bang up job with the license, he always had new product out there and the price point for Mulitverse figures and super powers give credit to him in this economy being reasonable.

Would be great if Super Powers and the 6 inch retro lines could continue! i don't even collect the latter, but they do look good. Personally, i think the 7 inch Multiverse line is ugly and over-articulated with horrible torsos that should not have articulation. So Mattel taking that over is fine with me.

It has occurred to me Mattel can probably do Remco Lost World of the Warlord figures in MOTU origins now.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I would buy every figure if Mattel made DC Comics The Lost World of The Warlord. I would love to get a repro of that mini-comic that explained how Ark and Hercules showed up in Skartaris. I also want more of Warlord's main cast.

If we get a redo of Arak Son of Thunder again I want more characters from that series:

I grew up reading more sword and sorcery books so these fit my reading. I would even buy the different comic book outfits of the main characters.

To me, this is amazing news. McFarlane toys are low quality, brittle, and scale with nothing, and are full of unnecessary detail. Why is Green Lantern wearing chainmail? And why is Nightmaster, who WEARS chainmail smooth with scales DRAWN on?
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures
