Well this a little lackluster. No mention of new Super Powers, DC Retro or Superman movie figures.

Also no mention of Fantastic Four or Thunderbolts?

If I were a dealer I would have been really upset with the big two

Isn't McFarlane Super Friends under DC Retro?

I expected more from Hasbro and Marvel, but they do so much of their reveals on their on channels, it's not surprising.

I think a McFarland Aquaman would look neat, going up against the Jaws shark.

              MARVEL!

There was a ton of Marvel collectibles on display by Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant at New York Toy Fair 2025. These include Marvel Select action figures, Marvel Minimates, Busts, and Statues.

Check out the Hasbro Marvel Legends items on display during New York Toy Fair 2025.

Yes, it is really disappointing not to see any new Super Powers figures (including ones from the movie). i hope this isn't a bad sign, especially with McFarlane losing the license next year. But it often seems like a really short time between new SP figures being revealed, put up for pre-order, and shipping. Really impressive actually compared to the turn around time with other companies.

The Super Friends are what I was hoping McF would do after Batman '66, so I love this. I'll collect them all!

th (20).jpg My main problem with the Super Friends are I already have them from the DC Direct packed away.
                    th (15).jpg

Now if they would have a added in new character that would have been worth it.

Its surprising to me how much upcoming for this year wasnt shown. Not even Hammond Spidey was shown and that's going up for preorder in a couple of weeks.
                      FF
                      Thunderbolts
                      Maximum Hulk
                      Marvel vs Capcom
Marvel Rivals...nothing upcoming or even rumored but something for that has to be in the works. It's too popular for it to be ignored.
I guess post-covid toy fair isnt as relevant as it used to be.

Yeah, there was a lot NOT shown. Like no Superman movie toys from anyone. Considering we saw the trailer, I think they could have shown every character in that.

But Hammond Spider-Man was at the Hasbro booth in one of Pixel Dan's videos.

Yeah, I was disappointed that they started out with the same figures DCD gave us too. But if they are still around $17-20, I may bite. Unless McFarlane can keep the retro line (and Super Powers) as a rep told Toy Shiz that they might, I don't know about investing in a new series, since we'll probably get 3 waves if we're lucky.

I wish DCD or McFarlane had given Hal Jodan his proper California tan from Super Friends!

Nice, i will check that out.

Also, apparently Mcfarlane is still going to be producing DC pieces, im guessing through DC Direct. I think the 7 inch page punchers was dc direct so i wonder if that is some kind of loophole they're going to use once Mattel has the license.

The old DC Direct Super Friends are cool, I always wanted them, but that was a long time ago and I'm sure they're costly now. So I'll be buying the McF ones. And given what a deep cut company McF can be, I hope and expect that we'll see characters DC Direct didn't make. Look what they've done with the Batman '66 line. They took it further than I could have expected and it's been wonderful. Already, in Super Friends wave 1, we have the Universe of Evil Red Batman. This is gonna be fun!
