The TOP 13 Retro SUPERHERO TOYS OF 2024 — RANKED

My personal rankings of the top retro Superhero toys of the year. Your mileage may vary, but we're obviously wallowing in an embarassement of riches here!

A good list. I really liked Clock King, too. I've always wanted a Mego of him! Who's more deserving of a screen-printed suit, GA needs a foe.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Hopefully they will make more Crystar figures. Very cool and unexpected.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

The Earth 2 Robin was the only choice on that list.

The absence of the Commissioner Gordon and Bat-Mite and the iron man: Count Nefaria figures were my "nostalgia" choices for 2024.

I call Dibs on the Dragon Man preorder to end up on next year's list.

Well, to each their own. As I said in the intro, that's my list. I didn't want to go too Batman heavy, so I backed off the New Adventures of Batman figures from McFarlane.

I want more, too--the whole line, really lol.

That's a nice list! I own 7 of the 13, with the Mego Marvel Set hopefully being #8, and the Corgi Batmobile something I just haven't pulled the trigger on.

The Beast Kingdom '66 Dynamic Duo had my interest, but Batman seemed a bit skinny with droopy draws, so I skipped it.

Thanks! After seeing the Beast Kingdom Batman in person, I really want him. But the Robin still has the issue with them printing the laces on his tunic clear to the bottom, below his belt. And I think the actual manufactured figures come with a Utility Belt that isn't as fully painted and detailed as the prototypes, if I remember correctly. But still, overall a very nice figure.

No worries Chris, Just waxing Philosophically, and as I see most everyone approves of the choices!!

                  Cheers!

I feel like I wanted Crystar more than almost anyone but I haven’t actually picked up the figure because the helmet isn’t removable. And my old Remco lost his helmet very early on so I don’t really associate the character with it on. I imagine him sort of “powered up” with it on but I like the option to remove it. But they didn’t do that. Grr.

                    Nice list though!

Good list. Bat-Manga Batman would definitely make the list for me. The 7" one, though I like the SP one just fine too.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

Bat-Manga (the 7" one) was also in the running, but was elimnated due to Bat-Bias, which both myself and Dan who runs 13th Dimension definitely have!
