Saw a video short from Toy Shiz that showed a black costume variant for Batgirl, making her look more in line with her original Silver Age appearance. The gray highlights eventually took over, as highlights often do with super hero costumes (see Batman and Spider-Man, for example).

Is anyone buying these? I initially skipped them. I like the colors and the head sculpts, but the reuse of the TV bodies was just Eh to me. I did pick up Gordon and recently scooped up a quick restock of Batgirl, because I figure those might be the hardest to get later, just in case I change my mind. Which I might because they look great in the carded group pictures I have seen online.

I'm interested, but don't have them yet. I actually thought I'd just try finding them at Target, cos that's fun. I also heard that this wave is just considered the latest in the Batman '66 line, which is interesting. I hope the waves continue.

Yes, I'd also like those other characters! Anyone know if these have hit the racks yet? Amazon date is sometime next week, the 17th, I believe. But I'd like to hunt for them in the wild...

I see that they have the inverted colors of the Robin insignia. Will they release a variant of the inverted Batman insignia which was a so extremely frequent error of Filmation. I think the inversion even happened to the Toys R Us Batman history set

Batman, Robin, and Joker were delivered today by Amazon. They are pretty darn good, considering everything but the heads are reused parts.
