Terminator Salvation and new Star Trek movie figures

I visited a Wally's store and found these on clearance.

No real big surprise to me here on the new Star Trek movie figures. Even on clearance they are just collecting dust.

The 6" Star Trek figures was priced at $4.00 each while the 3.75" Star Trek figures were priced at $3.00 each. They STILL sat on the pegs. I thought once about buying some as there was a ton of these left over. I went back about a week later and found that these were reduced to $3.00 for the large and $2.00 for the small. There was like 8 large left and a couple of small left. I bought what was left to use the phasers (even know a bit small for Mego's) for customs.

Terminator Salvation figures was originally $8.97 each. Then they were reduced to $3.50 each. I bought one to test for the head to use for customizing. After testing I went back in another couple of days or so and these figures were reduced down to $2.50 each. I bought a few more. I went back about a week later and poof these were ALL gone. No big surprise there either at that price.

I also noticed that not every Wal-Mart is on the same page with their clearance aisles either. Most Wally's still have these in the toy aisle at regular full price. I am still waiting for some of the other Wally's to cave around in my area.

I post this message as a heads up to anyone that might be interested in picking up some of these for whatever reasons. Keep an eye out in the clearance aisle at your Wal-Mart's as they may eventually follow suit if they have not already done so.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

I don't think we ever got Trek toys at our local Wal-Mart. I don't think a single Terminator item moved.

I hope Playmates makes enough money off their Disney license and TMNT, because both of these lines had to be major disappointments for them.

If I scene the Star Trek Mini Figures for 2 bucks a Pop..., I'd have to get a Few Myself.

The Terminator Salvation Playmate Nonsense Was just Hurrendous from the Start... Whoever signed off on that Stuff Should be Fired.
