MARVEL UNIVERSE HANDFUL OF HEROES 8 FIGURE PACK VHTF - eBay (item 380156984373 end time Oct-08-09 18:58:53 PDT)

On a completely unrelated topic I saw the Marvel Handful of Heroes at Wal-mart. They are about 2" tall and come in different colors. 8 in a package with 1 mystery figure. It says to "Collect all 120" on the back. Just an FYI.

            I saw that Hulk today.
I believe it is the Same Hulk,.. but with a Way better Head Sculpt. He's way far From Mego Scale too. I think he's only like 4 &3/4 inches tall.

I really like the look of a lot of the figures from this line. From a Marvel fan and collector's standpoint, I think this line does all you could ask on character selection.

I guess my only issue is durability as a toy. As a gift, I gave several of these figures to an 8, 7 and 6 year old. I watched them play with the figures for a good chunk of the day and they weren't smashing them to pieces. Within a short period of time, Spiderman's leg had fallen off and Green Goblin looked extremely loose after being placed on his glider for much of the afternoon. (Maybe they are a little too articulated for kid's toys.) Don't know if anyone else has let their kids get their hands on these.

no i won't give em to kid @ $9 a pop. if you go to toy shows get em 90's toy biz instead like the x-men, and the fantastic four line actually have some decent characters for $2 or $3 each how can you go wrong.

I just saw a Thing with white belt and boots. I'm guessing that it's a chase figure. I passed. So far I think the only set I haven't seen yet is the Spider-man and His Amazing Friends one.

I saw that one at TRU. It seemed kind of pricey for 3 figures. I think they should have thrown in a free DVD of an episode or something to sweeten the deal.

I'm digging Guardian from Alpha Flight. Namor looks good too. Just got Red Hulk. The Green Hulk in the Secret Wars 2-Pack has a better looking head in my opinion. BigBadtoystore has the B&W Captain America and if you can't find the colorr version anywhere try the Secret Wars Comic Two-Packs Series 01 -Captain America & Klaw. That's how I got mine.
