1/6 scale Ark of the Covenant

I wonder: did anyone get the mail-in Ark from Hasbro?

I need one for my custom Indy, but I wanted to know first if it's any good, or just a big shiny piece of plastic?

I clicked on the link, and it told me that I needed to sign in to the account in order to see the picture.

Rche, could you please post the pic?

I'd like to see it too.

well that is damn'd inconvenient. I was trying to pull it out of an email I had sent to someone. I'll have to get it up on a hosted site a little later this eve. Sorry about that, chief.

Unfortunately the regular head's kinda a bust.

After being shafted with the 4 inch TOHT figure not being relesaed---it's
                    a shame.

Here's mine. The detail is very nice! I'm glad I got one! The bottom pic shows the inside of the bottom of the Ark. Giving it a sandy bottom!

I would have to say I enjoy both the pre and post melt portraits for Sideshow's Toht. But, this was about the ark, not the doll.

I could not post the pic I wanted to earlier, and only had access to the posed figure and ark photo.. I was planning on putting up a shot of just the ark this evening, but T has beat me to it with a fantastic couple of shots of the ark. Thanks Theressa!!

Sideshow also has a nice ark, tho it is a polystone construction vs. Hasbro's plastic. I like the Hasbro one just fine. More bang for the buck, really. The ark in the Toht photo is the Hasbro item, not Sideshow.
The following is a stock photo from SS. Nice detail, but it comes at a premium.

I'm torn between the Sideshow and the mail-in from Hasbro.
                          Got to get one...

And you're right, Huedell. The Sideshow Toht sculpt didn't really cut it.

LOL. I got 30 pics of just my ark. I went nutsy on snapping them. All the way from the sealed box, taking the plastic off, removing each layer of the tissue paper, to setting it up.
Then I put it back in it's box!
