that new Cobra Commander 12" based on the sh*t movie

So a friend of mine was telling me about the absolute ******** new mask they gave Cobra Commander for this new Joe film.

I looked it up (found a youtube clip reviewing the toy 12" version) and I was a bit delighted. Not because they ruined him, but because with a little modification and coloring to that crappy plastic see through mask, one could technically make the following figures instead:

    1. chatterbox from Hellraiser
    2. My bloody valentine killer
    3. Most importantly (for me anyway) one of the zombie Augers from the sega cd game Night Trap--

I saw all I had to see in the trailer. I hated every other film the director has made
and this has the same look as the other garbage by him. No thanks I will pass

Perhaps the sigma six halo jump suits really did it in for me as well.

I have friends with different taste that have seen the film so gathering the info based on their reviews has also helped me decide how much I would hate this picture as well as the new origins route. I mean even when they were annoucning the film's director and some of the actors I already saw the ship sinking

The only good thing from this (like some other based on comic popular films have done) is that a number of years down the road some competent director can make the film darker in nature (like the newer comic or even the cartoon Resolute) the way it should have been made to begin with and give the series justice.

Nothing confusing about this post at all. You can mod that see through helmet to resemble the characters I listed above

I agree with Toys2Cool, before slating a movie you should see it, and if you don't want to see it then why bother putting it down

because it aggravates me when you can see a film is easily teenage fast food crap, and by a horrible director, when they could have made it a more serious film and less catering to the kids. You know what you are getting just by the trailer alone (drag me to hell was another fine example of this which I did have the misfortune of seeing).

trailers can be a little deceptive, but I have seen enough films and own enough to know when despite the trailer, you can see something might be worth while in a feature. In Joe's case they are strictly marketing it for the mtv, teenage fast action crowd and right along the same lines as the dir's other features, all catering to the same quick cheap teenage action flicks (because these are the films he makes). This is exactly why I will not waste my time in seeing it and why just from trailer alone I was bashing it. It does not require a viewing because I know exactly what I am already getting
