Vote for DCU Figure (Wave 15)

Welcome to Mattel Creations, an elevated collector platform that offers a canvas for the most innovative creators of today and tomorrow to tinker with, reimagine, and re-create some of the most iconic toys in the world.

    Geo-Force
    Libra
    Uncle Sam
Freddy Freeman (hmmm...not calling him Captain Marvel Jr. I see, probably because of Marvel Comics. I know Freddy is lame but so is this....)
    Raven
    Toyman (Super Friends/Jack Nimball version)

My personal choices would be Toyman or Geo-Force.

Right now apparently the voting goes like this:

    CAPTAIN MARVEL JR.
    1258 (17 %)
    GEO-FORCE
    501 (7 %)
    LIBRA
    642 (9 %)
    RAVEN
    2580 (36 %)
    TOYMAN
    1162 (16 %)
    UNCLE SAM
    868 (12 %)

I'm really surprised Raven is in the lead.

If they make him, I'd like an old-school Silver Age variant.

I'd vote for Toyman, simply this is probably THE ONLY chance of ever getting a Toyman figure. The others have either been made in this scale by DCD, or have a good shot at it.

Having Raven would give me hope of seeing a Disco Nightwing or Teen Wonder Robin though.

Raven's probably doing well since she will just about complete the Titans. Already have Cyborg, Starfire, Beastboy, Kid Flash, and Nightwing or Robin.

What is UP with, like, NO Toyman figures EVER?

Everybody (except me) whines about Supes' "lame" Rogues Gallery
and here's a great part of that gallery, like, NEVER made.

            Weird.

Outside of Superfriends and Superman TAS, Toyman is pretty lame looking.

                Really?

Well, where are THOSE figures then (SF/S:TAS I mean)?

                Just saying.

Since Deadman has Robin booties I bet a classic Robin is a real possibility.

I voted for Toy Man and Raven. We've gotten quite a few from the Legion of Doom with Black Manta, Riddler, Sinestro, Grundy, Giganta, Grodd, Captain Cold and Lex coming in the 5-pack. Toy Man would fit right in.

Wellll, until DCDirect did it there was no Super Friends line and Kenner managed to kill the Superman TAS line with too many Supes variants.

I agree,.. More so the Super Friends Version.... , TAS has a Doable one... ,.. The New Brave & the Bold one is like the Super Friends version,.. but on Banes body. ... Can't say I much care for any other version of the character,.. Nore would I ever buy 1,.. depending on the C&C Part.

Well that's 3 passable Toymans right there...and as far as the one that has gone "description-less" in this thread---let Me do the honors...
                        the "portly longhaired bespectacled" bloke---
different divisions have put out plainer looking DCU characters than HIM
---and the Silver/Bronze Age "portly" one would not be the "plainest"---
plus they could give him some cool toy weapons....but really that wasn't my
point to begin with, as was mentioned
there ARE other versions of him that have yet to hit the shelves.

bottomline I think TOYMAN, in ANY form, has been getting the shaft
---and I'm quite surprised you DCU fans don't simply agree with me.
(Was it the fact that I openly praised Supes' rogues gallery again?)

                        Yep.
It's a character with quite a legacy in the DCU and NOTHING
as of yet has been released.

                            There's a Ross figure.

Other than the Super Friends & TAS & Even the New Brave & the Bold ToyMan,.. All other versions Suck Hue ... Toy Companies reconize that ,.. He would be a Peg Warmer for Sure.

This isn't some Misguided Info Bro,.. & This Is NOT Superman 3 ,.. So this shouldn't be up for Debate either.

I think the Super Friends Property was tied up,.. thats why DC Direct could never make Him,.. However Since Mattel is now Making JLU Super Friends figures,.. they Obviously have the rights somewhere's ...

And I'm GLAD they made at least ONE "Toyman" figure.
That's the main reason I've been going on about this.
                              I can rest easier now

Misguided? I don't know...but "mispoken" in this thread, yeah, I'd say so.

                              It's a "debate" to me...and I've already said why...
I refer you to this (what you just said in your last post)...

You just mentioned THERE'S like THREE versions right there that haven't
                              been made---so that's POINT #1

And, yeah, toy companies are "so smart" riiiiiiight

If they had better assortments there wouldn't be HALF
the pegwarmers that there are----no matter what the
figures look like. I've seen bad mofo alien badguys warm pegs just as much
as any DC DIRECT Dr. Sivana I've ever seen on the pegs.

And I stand by the idea that even if you gave the most plain villain
a cool weapon he could be appealing to kids---

                              and even dismissing "kids"
---there still is "collector" value to a long known character like Winslow---
heck they're making a Hugo Strange figure----or some dork looking
guy like him (??I saw a pic), then they can make "fat" Winslow

Well, this could end up meaning another cool Toyman figure.
                              We'll keep our fingers crossed
