Super Friends Hawkman

I really wasn't planning to buy these, I swear it. But one day my husband showed up at my job with Batman to cheer me up. Then, he got me Cyborg for our anniversary, and now I want Robin and the Joker. I've just added Hawkman to the toy family. I actually thought he had been recalled. On the other packages I saw, his picture was included, but had a note that said, "No longer available." Does anyone know what was the deal? Did I manage to get one that was supposed to be pulled, or did they tweak some details and rerelease him?

HawkMan was pulled because of a Weapon He Had,.. That was deemed Unapropriate for the small children those figures were designed for.

ToyFare had an article about it .... They claimed that if Hawkman was ever to be released again,.. they would have to change that,.. however... there was no release Date for him at the time.

What was the weapon? I'll check mine and see if he has it.

I'm still hoping I come across one of these...I've seen the Cyborg but I've passed on him like 10 times already....he doesn't fit in with the rest of the JLA-type characters to me....he's a Titan.

Nate bought me Cyborg because I'm a big Teen Titans fan, and he'll go with Robin, if I find him. I'm also hoping they make a few other Titans.

I thought Hawkman only made it to Rite-aid before it got recalled. That's where I got mine. I have only seen one Robin, and it was Ebay overseas. I thought the line was cancelled. Target was the last place around here that carried them, and they hit clearance a few weeks ago. I have not seen them at TRU, Walmart, or Meijer in ages

Hawkman was all over the place in Canada. For the most part the line has been focusing on the smaller Super friends stuff of late. I kinda like the small figures.

I only wished the line could have continued long enough so that we would have gotten a Hal Jordan Green Lantern and at least some more of the Legion of Doom , like Bizarro, Grodd, and Brainiac or even Darkseid . I guess it might have looked something like this..

My son was into these, but I guess he feels he outgrew them pretty much. He passed on Cyborg at Target a month or so ago. He still uses that great Batmobile for his 6" figure though.

He still likes the Imaginext figures. There's a new two-seater Batmobile out in that line.
