Masters of the Universe Classics Battle Cat!

2009 SDCC Preview Night: Mattel's Masters Of The Universe - SDCC - ToyNewsI.com
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Battle Cat always rocked, and this one is no exception.

I love the early look He Man characters.
Yeah, as much as I got into the cartoon, the early mini-comics and package backs told a more interesting story really.

The Cartoon actually turned me off, I thought the original Mattel concept was cool.

I had the same problem with G.I. Joe, loved that comic but the cartoon just was too juvenile for me. Didn't stop me from watching every episode ten times but still...

          Same. And same.

And I was a pretty immature kid too.

I thought SPIDER-FRIENDS was breakthru creme de la creme
writing at the time and still knew He-Man was bad...all BILLION episodes of it.

Probably because I loved the toys.
