G.I.Joe Rise of Cobra figures and playsets...

I know a lot of you old school guys may frown on these new figures, but they are REALLY nice and Toys R Us is having a two for ten sale this week. Since I recently sold about 500 dollars worth of DVDs, I didn't mind spending 200 today on these. I bought the Pit and there are about 18 figures crawling all over that thing and a few small vehicles...I'll post a picture at some point here.

The set up I have right now looks like something out of a Christmas Wish catalogue...it's sweet!

I was going to buy these but had to resist, I collect enough now as it is. And the old joes are better but I did like this line

The figures look better than the movie does, IMHO. My son bought the unmasked Stormshadow today. I got a few things spoiled for me by checking out the packages, and none of them made me feel any better about this movie. Have you seen Zartan? Apparently he's the guy who played the Mummy in the recent movies. Which would be fine if they bothered to make him look SOMEWHAT like Zartan.

But the figures are nice.
