My love of Bowen Designs statues stems directly from my love of the Megos I owned as a kid. Why do you think I even know about this site? Oh, that's right...'cause I actually have been reading it for years.

That Iron Man 2020 statue is awesome.
I may have to get one of those. That was one of my favorite IM storylines from the Layton years.

Hmmm...Layton wasn't involved with IM 2020....

I've enjoyed seeing pictures of these statues. They're really very nice. In some cases it feels like the character is a real person.

I personally have bad luck with statues. Of the three I've owned, two have met with a bad end. I had a Green Goblin bust that my father dropped, a Robin statue that I accidently bumped off a shelf, and a Superfriends Batman that I keep in his box just because of what happened to the other two.

The Bowen ones are mostly Marvel? I'm more of a DC guy but I still think these are great statues.

I had several of the DC Bowen statues when they first came out - Batman, Robin, Superman, Catwoman and Batgirl. But I sold them off when I ran out of collecting room. I regret it sometimes. I've always loved some of the Marvel ones.

I will admit to owning the Super Friends set and several by Ron Lee from the Warners Brothers store I got before they folded. I'm also a big fan of the Women in the DC Universe line of mini-bust but just don't have the room for them right now.

I personally like seeing the pics though.

I like checking out the pictures of the statues - if anything, the multiple views of a statue are great reference when I'm making a custom Mego.
