Actually, this looks like the kind of movie Chap Mei might make "sort of kind of like" toys for, like they did with last years Adventure Heroes/Indiana Jones line. They have dinosaurs...they'll stick in a random repainted figure or two (Odds on Sandy Storm and the female vet figure)...and then make some cool new monsters type (ie Sleestak) figures. Its a no -brainer for them. Hope I'm right.

I'm surprised that they're not making them. I was watching the Marathon yesterday. All I could think of was how cool it would be to have some

Yeah i was watching that and war movies all day, These are the characters that we grew up watching, Rich marshal was such a great person to look up to.
I would love to see some stuff from the OTVS.
I would love to see a straight forward tribute of the show, A "what If" they had a Budget. type thing, I fear it is going to another "Journey to the center of the earth" Remake. with a lot of comedy elements.(which it is)
There is nothing funny about being trap In another time & Place with only with what you have on your back to help you.

Its Like making "the new adventures of Johnny Quest" Johnny Quest as 17 year old teenager , They were missing the Point,.
            Which was dreadful cartoon .

At least the new movie has them show accurate, not like the horrible remake series...
dude, not cool. i grew up with the 1991 series ... when i heard about the new movie the 1990's series came to mind. i vividly remember the toys.

with this they'll prob release the series (both eras) on dvd, if your lucky maybe there will be an adult collectors series. but hey, i'm still praying for a gremlins 3 here. heh.
