No Land of the Lost movie toys?

I was hoping to get some Sleestak figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I don't get why that is. Sleestaks are the coolest thing IMO Sid and Marty ever did, yet they get no love.

At least the new movie has them show accurate, not like the horrible remake series...

I'll have to consult Enuk about the toy situation, maybe he can find the correct combination of crystals...can't wait for the movie!
No exclusives and no chase figures, please - I'm Canadian!

The stores already have enough peg warmers with ST and Terminator figures, they don't need any more.

Given that the crappy 3-3/4" figures from Wolverine were selling for almost $9 at Wal-Mart, I got the impression that Toy Companies had given up on marketing movie tie-in toys.

I see where Subway is having some kind of Land of the Lost promotion, but I'm not sure they have any toys for the kids' meals. Usually their toys are super-lame, but on occasion they pull out a nice one, like the Justice League and Static Shock figures of years ago.

Its sign Of the times , for the pass 15 years there Have been more movie flops and the toy tie-in paid the price.
Sinbad cartoon movie, apes ,speed racer (A BIG BOMB),Grinch, last 2 Star trek movies ,tresure planet,Under Dog.
So they are not sure thet a lampoon movie Of the orginal show is going to work, and not going to risk putting money in a potenial BOMB.

I can almost guarantee you that some toys of some kind will be made. Perhaps not the type that you can find in a regular toy store, but rather those statue like toy figures which seem to have been made from almost every action, horror, sci-fi film that has come out within the last 10 years

The type that you can find more so at comic shops or online action figure vendors

I would kill for a sleestak figure
"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"

Starroid Raiders Dagon wrote "No Dime Store Monster left behind"

I don't care if the movie sucks or not. The Sleestak look fantastic in it and would make kicking action figures.

Do they even make "toys" anymore for movies like this? I mean, the "toy" concept implies that a kid would actually play with it, right?

I could see them doing some sort of collectible line meant for adult collectors, maybe. But an actual "toy"? Probably not.

I have a buddy that produces a great Sleestak resin kit. It stands about 8'' or 9" tall. Other than that, I haven't heard of anything else.

Kenner took a bath on Jurassic Park and then "realisting Dino's" were new. the reality is the kids would have just as much fun having the dino eat the people (now that is an action feature you can sell). I can't see the kids rushign out for Will chaka and dr marshall. Sleestak maybe but this one has bomb written all over it. I'm glad there aren't toys. the AF aisles have enough junk that doesn't sell already
