I like the movie but the toys themselves were real dogs after that summer.

I wish I had remembered "Super Mario Brothers"...

Those Dick Tracy figures were horrible. The cars were sweet however. Which I snagged one back then to make a custom original Batmobile for my animated figures.

Great list. I remember the Mark Whalberg POTA figure being stuck in a Saturday Night Fever disco dance pose. Those were indeed quite horrible.

I don't think the FlinStone Toys are too Horrible ,.. even if people didn't want them... Everything Else,.. I pretty much can't even believe people wasted their time on,.. add the New Terminator toys to that list..
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

always trading for Hot Toys Figures .

I wrote this list a year ago otherwise I may have added those new Terminator toys and not mentioned KB like they are still in business.

i gotta agree all those lines were pretty bad. star trek is still kinda cool cause there made by mego. i remember the blade figures being a bomb at the time of it's release and the figures selling for $40++ each a few years later.

God, what was up with the Little Nicky Dog figure in the leg-up going to the bathroom position? Up until that point, McFarlane toys seemed to have the Golden Touch.

I wish I could go back in time and tell my teenage self how bogus the Investmentary section of Action Figure News was. My time would have been better spent elsewhere rather than combing the toyshelves looking for Madonna as The Blank Action Figures or whatever Shadow figure they deemed $$$.

Kevin Costner's Waterworld does edge out Kevin Costner's Robin Hood on this list. You think they would have learned!

I think using the term "block buster" in combination with most of those movies is being maybe overly generous. Other than that it was fun. I am also a bit surprised you left out those dreadful Hook and Demolition Man action figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Aww come on.. No one like Flattop or any of those other cool Dick Tracy Villians?

Guess you had to be old enough to remember those guys from the comic to appreciate they actually made toys of them.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                            Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

So many lines could have made this list...Men in Black...dune...Last Action Hero.....but Trek? I loved that line. Hoped for more...and was utterly disappointed a Wrath of Khan line wasnt produced.
