    question on Iron Man megolike

I know there was a Famous Covers Iron Man. Has anyone else done an 8 or 9 inch megoish version of old buckethead?

    thanks in advance

I have a Silver Age Head....

Throw him in a Vintage suit,.. or some Doc Mego Gear,.. & you would have a Pretty Megoesque figure.

I also Have a Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark Head ..

Nope, Mego and FC are the only 8 to 9 inch versions out there. Too bad Hasbro didn't do one in its Signature Series. There is a deluxe 10 inch one out now with all sort of weapons, it could be converted over to a Hasbro body.

Thanks for all your help; and that is an awesome silver sculpt there, BK.
I am looking for an Iron Man for my son. I don't have any beater megos in that dept, plus I think he would like the removable mask idea. This is one that would get some serious playtime, so I don't think I want to do a resin painted head for him. I may look into that in the future after the battle cry of "up, up, and away - ooof; that smarts" wanes in popularity around here.

I was hoping there was something along the lines of the hasbro origins line that I missed, but it looks like that is a no.

They released onefrom the Ironman movie that is @ 8inches tall, no removable clothes, but is a really cool piece in mego size. You can usually find him on the lower shelf in TRU under the marvel figures.

^^ All I've seen is the 9-10 inch electronic figure.

That Iron Man head is totally cool! I wish Mego would have done one of those as well. I'd love to get one of those but since my son and I play with our Megos together, it would get completely mangled. Same goes for the Tony Stark. GStill, great work all around.

Along with the Ironman there is a Spidey, black Spidey, ad Doc octopus.

echoing the above statement that all I have seen is the electronic one, which is a bit large compared to the other heroes my son has. Not that scale really matters to him at the moment.

I will have to look at the target website and see if it is there. Is this a hasbro product?

                        thanks

That Iron Man head rocks, that thing is sweeeeeeet!

Also, I've only seen the larger electronic Iron Man at stores, I'll have to see if I can find an 8" one as well, though to my knowledge Famous Covers was the only one besides Mego.

I was hitting a wall looking for a modern Iron Man in the 8 to 9 inch range that my son could play with. I figgered I would have to find a famous covers IM and let that fit the bill. Along comes Supes with the suggestion for the one on the lower shelves at Target. I've never seen anything other than the large electronic IM there.

Turns out - there is an Unleashed version of the figure.

I don't think any of the stores in my area are carrying these, but the ones around Supes are. He picked up one for me and mailed it to my son who is now happily running around with Hulk, Spidey, and IM shouting "I am Iron Man".

                              Thanks Supes - YOU ROCK!!!
and so does the museum for getting such a great group of folks together.

                              have a good time
