The Batgirl wearing the grey costume will have the sculpted hair(aka the "Regular version"), and the one in the black costume will have rooted hair(aka "Variant"). The guy at the DC Booth told me that retailers will have to order either 4 or 5 of the regular one to get 1 of the variant.

For the people wanting Green Lantern reissued they should put another Lantern like Tomar-re and have the Hal head as a secondary head.

Damn! Those are good prices! I would'a started collecting them for that amount.

This may seem like an extreme statement, but from the look of that pic,
that 13" GREEN ARROW could be the greatest superhero figure/doll ever released retail.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

Well, just in case they don't, per the Mattel panel at SDCC, Mattel is making a Black Canary Barbie. Although she'd be a bit short for this GA...

I guess I'll be the jerk that pees on everyone's birthday cake.

I've wanted to like the DC 13" stuff, and I've even bought three of the different Superman figures, but for the most part, those figures are tremendously flawed. The heads are generally too small, and the bodies suffer from serious proportion problems. I don't expect 100% realism, but look at that Green Arrow. His arms look so short that he probably has to use a rag on a stick to wipe himself. His feet are tiny; he has little girl feet! And the costume... I know it's difficult to translate large clothing into a small size, but the man looks like he's going to a whiplash trial with that giant turtleneck. Women wear those big floppy turtlenecks, not men. The hat is too small on his too small head and it makes him look like Peter Pan.

Seriously, I just don't see the love. While there are certainly some nice figures in the line (Batman and Superman are decent enough), DC Direct has completely blown this line, IMO.

Um...no offense Steve, but the DCD body proportions are actually pretty accurate, IMHO. More accurate than 90% of the comic art they are based on. The hands hit in the same place mine do. Maybe I've got short arms!!!

Sure, there have been some undersized heads. Two-Face being the biggest offender. My biggest gripe is that they should ad a swivel/pivot wrist joint. The interchangable hands are clumsy and fall off easily.

The big turtleneck is an artistic choice. It looks like the way most artists drew GA during the first part of his new series. I'd have preferred a more Adams-like approach, but I think it's fine.

But if everyone loved this line, something would be horribly wrong with the world. To each his own!

Earth 2 is right,... When drawing a figure, the human body scale is suppost to be 8 1/2 heads tall , for males,... he is pretty darn accurate.

MAN OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH MAN do I love that Arrow,.. if only they would make a Hawkman & a DeathStroke,.. I would be in toy heaven.
