Here is something kind of cool that I picked up today.

Iron Man concept series Captain America.



I bought this for the CA shield as it looked pretty close to Mego scale.



Here is the new shield sitting next to an original Mego Captain America shield. Notice there is not a big difference in the size.



Here is a picture of the back of both the new and original shields. You will see that the new shield has a wrist clip as well as two straps to really hold the shield on the figure well.



Here is a close up of the wrist clip attached to an Mego Captain America figure. Amazingly to me the wrist clip attaches firmly and perfectly to the Mego Captain America.



Here is the Mego Captain America holding the shield while standing next to the new figure.



Here is the Mego Captain America holding the shield and the missile launcher which also fits the Mego Captain America like a charm.



All and all I consider this figure to be a neat figure and a good buy for the accessories. The figure was priced at about $12.00 with tax.

Thats a Great Looking Shield. It's perfect. Thats a Very nice find. You got the Eye for accesories. I think I might have to go find one of these guys.

Thank you for the nice comment. I am glad that you viewed and liked my post. I am "always" keeping an eye out for Mego like sized accessories. I also like to share with the members here in the event they may not have seen these and wish to add to their collection. Also great for customizers. Good luck finding one in a store near you. Keep me posted on how you do. Now that I know that the accessories fit well I will definitely be picking some more of these up as well. IF you do not find one do not despair. I bought my son one of these guys a while back and I have been eyeballing his shield ever since. If I had a Mego Captain America, I probably would have traded him out of it by now. After buying my son's figure, I didn't see anymore until yesterday. I considered buying one for myself, but didn't. Eventually I'll grab one.

It's pretty cool that the blue on the shield matches Cap's bodysuit pretty well. But then, I'm color blind so maybe it doesn't.
