I just returned from lunch and came back with a Medium #1 with a Dr. Pepper... and oh yeah some Star Trek toys!!!

The glasses looked really cool, I'm going to have to make another trip, several in fact. So far I have Kirk and Scotty and that's it. The manager went to the back and opened a box, he said they just came in (translates to promotion just started today). I have a feeling he grabbed the first two that he came across, but seeing how it was the lunch rush I thanked him and bought them both

I scored the first 4 toys (4 a week for 4 weeks) and a complete set of the glasses today at lunch. Fun. fun.

Are the 4 toys in a week random or can you ask for specific ones? I love the ships but the figures do nothing for me.

I "think" that every BK store is playing by their own set of rules. The one I went to I had no problems at all getting what I wanted for othe most part. Unfortunately, According the the employee that I talked to she told me that they only had the two of the figures so that is all that I got.

Another employee seen me asking the first employee and she told me that there is a new set that comes out each week. From what I seen at this particular location the toys were already pre bagged and ready to go...just add food and give them to the customer basically.

The first lady did let me look inside some of the bags and what she told me was true from what I could see.

Note: I did not search each and every bag. I did not think that this little mission warranted me searching each and every bag. I did not go that far in depth just to get a toy that will no doubt eventually end up everywhere before it is over.

Right now I have tons of BK and McD and other fast food place toys mint in bags from sales and thrift stores. They are for the most part pretty plentiful as it pertains to the newer toys. I am thinking that the same will hold true once the new Star Trek movie is over with and the hype is all gone.

I have yet to take mine out of the packages. I will wait and find them later when someone's kid rips then out of the packages and gets rid of them once they find out how obnoxious they are. It works every time!

So, anybody collecting the toys? A lot of the Burger Kings in my area are telling me that they have already sold out. I was able to get the tricorder, the shuttle, the Kelvin, The Enterprise, Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and Uhura. (I would usually buy a few toys with one burger, so I really only made three trips).

I am collecting the toys as well. They seem to be plentiful here in my neck of the woods so far at least. This week some of the BK's here still have a lot of last weeks toys leftover. I guess it really all depends on the area in which you live and how many collectors that are in your area.
