I just looked through my old issues of Toyfare. In the November 2008 issue 135 there is a article about them in the Incomming section. It says

"Plus, collect all the points on the packaging and you can send away for a free Nick Fury {see furyfiles.com for details}"

I dont know if they changed their mind or not but I dont see anything on the furyfiles.com site about it.

I read somewhere that the details for this figure will be available when the third wave of figures is released. I'm really looking forward to this figure myself.

I contacted Hasbro about this and they replied today. They said it is a future promotion but cant give me any more details. I too am looking forward to this figure.

It's the real Nick Fury. The figure was shown at Toy Fair or the New York
Comic Con. Don't remember which one.

Maybe I should have used the term classic but to me there is only one
                        Nick Fury.
