It's all about the superheroes tonight, some from Marvel, some from DC.
I'm starting out with the new ML Icons series, which I picked up at Toys R Us last week. There's Colossus, Daredevil, Nightcrawler and Dark Phoenix in the first release, with a regular Phoenix and yellow/red Daredevil getting swapped into the cases later in the run. I'd love these if the damn joints would just work as designed, especially the hips. The sculpts are great, and the price can't be beat these days, But the hips and shoulders leave something to be desired.

Jeff Parker is looking at the Hot Toys Cosbabies...for Batman! He has some great shots of all seven in the regular release, and I can't wait to get my set now. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

since when is daredevil shorter than nightcrawler. colossus did look cool though.

He's cool, but the single pin elbows do make him less poseable. My fav is Nightcrawler, but damn it if those tight hips aren't a problem.

Hey Mike! I didn't know you were a member here. What a pleasant surprise!Love your reviews and visit the site often. I picked up the Rocky IV Hot Toys figure based on the strength of your review. Got Rocky for a good deal too (for what is out there)and love him (around $113.00). I was wondering when the next wave of Icons would hit and I must say this round looks good, especially Nightcrawler. I am hoping that somewhere down the road they will make Nova into an Icon. I know he is coming out with the smaller scale Marvel Legends this spring, so that gives me some hope. I look forward to a review on those if you have the opportunity. Anyway good to know your part of our community!
