    Hanna Barbera Banana Splits

Okay someone needs to finally make some Hanna Barbera Banana Splits Action Figures . I need a Drooper, Snorky, Fleegle, and Bingo. I am so surprised that all I have seen in recent years are Wacky Wobblers.

I think we need some decent figures of a lot of hanna barbera characters, I would love to see the little buggies that they had in banna splits too and as a sad piont I have the theme for that as my ringtone on my phone

FUNKO made bobble heads of each character.

McFarlane did some of the characters awhile ago. If you have a Big Lots store check there they did have them for $5.99 each. There was Jonny Quest, Hong Kong Phooey, Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw as El Kabong, Penelope Pitstop, Captain Caveman, & 3 different pcs. each of both Tom & Jerry and The Flintstones. There was also a bigger set with the Flintstones in the car with the Bronto Ribs tipping it over at the drive-in. These are more like little statue type figures though, not a lot of articulation.
I know there was a Herculoids set awhile back, as well as a Space Ghost- not sure who made those though.

I'd love to see a Shogun-Warrior sized Frankenstein Jr. piece and the Impossibles.

I heard that about a year ago. Sadly I had not seen much more info on it since. I believe they announced that shortly after Earl Kress mentioned on his blog that WB was looking to release the Hanna Barbera classic eps . However they found the masters in extremely bad shape and WB did not want to put the finances into restoration, but the Execs decided they wanted to give the property some life considering the show is one of Hanna Barbera's most wanted unreleased. Although it is not unlike Warner Brothers to not restore shows and release them. The Show was going to require hours of piecing back together and printing of a new master due to them clipping the show to smaller segments for a shorter syndication. My guess is had the masters not been clipped and used in smaller segments / shows / etc. They would have released this as is. Much like the other shows released.

I am curious to see what becomes of this remake. I think it will be funny to see if they update the characters looks, or will they leave them retro . I am sure they'll be updated to appeal to this generation of kids.
